Sometimes I find it difficult to express exactly what I'm struggling with. I find that I'm not brave enough to voice the thoughts to others, not eloquent enough to record them in my journal and simply put, ignorant enough to not know where to begin.
A couple of years ago, I was going through an extremely dry season in my faith. I was struggling to express my fears and hesitations. I wasn't sure how I was doubting God, but I knew I was.
So, as I sat in spanish class one day, I decided to pull out a piece of paper and simply begin writing. The flow of words slowly turned into what I have now called "confessions." Each confession is written in third-person... narrating the relationship between a girl and Jesus.
As you read them, you will come across my heart at different stages of my life. Each confession is the outpouring of my emotions in the middle of pain. You will see how God replied and how he surrounded me with his presence.
I pray that these will speak to you and encourage you as you continue to fight the good fight... running the race marked out for you.
